THE POETS: 

 

Stephanie Strickland’s 10 books of poetry include How the Universe Is Made:  Poems New & Selected and Ringing the Changes, a code-generated project for print based on the ancient art of bell-ringing, both published in 2019. Other books include Dragon Logic and The Red Virgin. She has published 11 digital poems, most recently the Vniverse app for iPad with Ian Hatcher; House of Trust, with Ian Hatcher, a generative poem in praise of free public libraries; and Hours of the Night, an MP4 PowerPoint poem probing age, sleep, and the night, with M.D. Coverley. Strickland’s  work across print and multiple media is being collected by the David M. Rubenstein Rare Book And Manuscript Library at Duke University.  http://stephaniestrickland.com

 

Maureen Seaton has authored twenty poetry collections, both solo and collaborative, most recently, Sweet World (CavanKerry, 2019) and Fisher (Black Lawrence Press, 2018). Her awards include the Iowa Prize, Lambda Literary Award, Audre Lorde Award, NEA fellowship, and the Pushcart. Her memoir, Sex Talks to Girls (University of Wisconsin Press, 2010), also garnered a “Lammy” and was recently reprinted in paperback (2018). ). With poet Neil de la Flor, she edited the anthology Reading Queer: Poetry in a Time of Chaos (Anhinga Press, 2018). Seaton teaches at the University of Miami.
