The Betsy-South Beach, with the Academy of American Poets, celebrates National Poetry Month, O, Miami Poetry Festival, and the third anniversary of The Betsy’s Writer’s Room with Poetry, Paella, and our literary cocktail for 2015, The Poet’s Palliative.

- Reading in B Bar features Anne-Marie Macari, Major Jackson, and Carlos Pintado.
- Campbell McGrath and P. Scott Cunningham will read works by Gerald Stern.
- Performance of Sprig of Lilac, poem by Hyam Plutzik will feature 8 a cappella voices, with music by Robert Cohen; conducted by Elaine Rinaldi.
9:30PM the event moves to the Deck, located on the rooftop of The Betsy, for a Paella Party!
