(mostly jazz) Live Music Series at The Betsy-South Beach gathers some of the top musicians in the country for live performances every Wednesday and Thursday from 8pm to 11pm.

The Betsy welcomes back Leesa Richards!

Singer-Songwriter Leesa Richards is a storyteller, a soulful voice offering a soundtrack to the narratives of life. Her sound taps into the deep roots of R&B, the poetry of jazz and folk and the energy of rock. Her debut solo album, Mother’s Child, is a beautiful organic blend exploring love and loss. As a part of Miami’s vibrant music scene, she’s helping to shape and define its evolving sound. Richards has performed with a slate of powerhouse artists including Faith Hill, Whitney Houston, The Bee Gees, Gloria Estefan, Jon Secada, Julio Iglesias and Oleta Adams and has recorded with Barbra Streisand and Lenny Kravitz. She played the role of Mary Magdalene in the national tour of Jesus Christ Superstar and has sung on numerous television commercials.
