The Betsy-South Beach Presents: "Live from the Library": a Facebook Live conversation with author and People en Español Editor-in-Chief, Armando Lucas Correa and author and director of The Betsy's Escribe Aquí program, Pablo Cartaya. Presented in partnership with Miami Beach JCC and Latinx in Publishing, the interview will stream simultaneously via The Betsy's Facebook feed and Latinx in Publishing's Facebook feed.

ARMANDO LUCAS CORREA: With 20 years of experience in Hispanic media, award-winning journalist and author Armando Lucas Correa is the Editor in Chief of PEOPLE EN ESPAÑOL, the top selling Hispanic magazine in the U.S. with more than 7 million readers every month. In his role, he oversees the editorial content of the magazine, PeopleEnEspanol.com and its digital editions for tablets and mobile. Correa is the recipient of various outstanding achievement awards from the National Association of Hispanic Publications and the Society of Professional Journalism. PABLO CARTAYA: Pablo Cartaya is the author of the acclaimed middle grade novel THE EPIC FAIL OF ARTURO ZAMORA (Viking 2017) and the forthcoming MARCUS VEGA DOESN’T SPEAK SPANISH (Viking 2018).
