ABOUT ABOUT

Salon I

ON CREATING IN TWO CENTURIES

Salon I with The Betsy's Vice President of Philanthropy, Deborah Briggs and Jean Blackwell Font, Senior Visual Arts Manager of The Betsy, ON CREATING IN TWO CENTURIES: Studio perspectives: past / present / future. Featuring Betsy exhibitors and partners. Special guests: Chasity Hale, National Student Poet, and Robert Zuckerman, Photographer (and Betsy exhibiting artist).

Artists in mid-career are (100%) creating 'between two centuries". Emerging artists are digital natives, creating through a lens that is informed by 21st century sensibilities, for the most part. Yet we all create together. How do we understand each others vision? Each other's work? Each other's purpose? What is our unique/individual and shared/collective purpose?

A light breakfast will be served; pastries, seasonal fruit and berries, fruit and coffee.

Seats are limited, your RSVP is required to attend.
