The Betsy Docent Tour

By The Betsy-South Beach (other events)

8 Dates Through Nov 30, 2017

ABOUT ABOUT

Join The Betsy's Visual Arts Specialist Jean Blackwell Font for a tour of The Betsy's Art Collection.

The Betsy Collection now includes more than 700 works, including images from photographer Robert Zuckerman, Spanish Illustrator Ricardo Cavolo, dog portraits painted by Eric Ginsburg, and more than 200 candid photos of The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, from their first US tours in the early 1960’s. With the mounting of their new exhibitions coinciding with Art Basel and Miami Art Week, The Betsy will feature works by New York painter Gerard Mossé, and Miami-based artists Rick Newton, Sarah Michelle Rupert, Eurydice, Paola Cassola, and Brookhart Jonquin.

The tour will include "secret" pieces from The Betsy collection, works that you may not discover on your own, like a donated photograph from William Wegman, or the larger than life iPhone images from a Namibian safari.

This event is free to attend, but your RSVP is required.
