Trumpeter Fernando Ferrarone is a multi-instrumentalist, he also plays alto saxophone. As a trumpet player, he is a member of the 2013 GRAMMY Jazz Band and Music for All’s Jazz Band of America; received a 2013 YoungArts Merit Award; and was presented an Outstanding Trumpet Soloist Award from Wynton Marsalis at the 2013 Essentially Ellington Competition at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City.
