PLAY SELECTION: "Play it By Ear", written by Mo Schneider and Joe Feinstein.
This original work is based on 3 plays, written by 17th century French playwright Moliere: The Miser, The Bourgeois Gentleman, and The Doctor in Spite of Himself. The playwrights have taken characters from the three plays and have put them in this situation comedy, as a veteran schemer tries to pay back his debts.
Directed by Founder of Conundrum Stages, Kevin Johnson presents an evening of play reading in its simplest and most original form, without sets or costumes - with the actors' voices to carry the emotion and power of the play. This event is presented as part of the South Florida Theatre League's Summer Playreading Festival.
NOTE: DOORS OPEN AT 7PM; PERFORMANCE TO BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 7:30PM. There will be a 15 minute intermission.
